Who takes the son?
Alpha Omega
A Retrospection
A deep reflection

Once upon a time there was a rich man whose hobby was collecting
original artwork from among the most famous and most expensive
paintings of greatest painters in history. His collections included Picasso,
Davenci, and many others who contributed to the wealth of art gallery. This
rich man had only one son whom he loved so much. He always used to
show his son this great collection of art and always cared to share with him
every thing he has specially the master pieces that no one possess except
him; and in this manner they both enjoyed each other's company by
spending so much time sitting together talking and sharing their wealth and
    their graceful legacy.

One day war broke out and the country officially declared its involvement in
this war and requested volunteers to join the army by men who find
themselves capable to stand up and defend their own country. When the
son heard the news, he immediately registered himself and took an
honorable position toward his own country and to fight an honorable fight
against the enemy, notwithstanding that he could be excused to join since
the law exempt him from taking part in this fight. Although this decision
deeply pierced his heart, the father did not prevent his only son from taking
this stand to defend the country. Accordingly the son left the country and
the great estate he enjoyed with his father and proudly joined the army.

In the Battle, the son was brave and showed great courage as he fought
against the enemy. During one battle a soldier in his group was injured at
the field. The son could not leave his fellow brother to die in the midst of
the battle but showed great compassion and ran into the field and carried
the wounded soldier and tried to save his life. As he was carrying the
wounded soldier and covering him with his own body, a bomb exploded in
his way back resulted in killing the son in a very dreadful manner. The
wounded soldier however, was saved and was immediately transported to a
safe location. When the soldier was told how he was saved and how the
son of the rich man risked his life while he carried him from the battlefield.
The soldier was very grieved because of this heroic act of the son, and
decided to draw a painting showing the courageous son carrying him in the
midst of the battle and sacrificing his own life to save his that apparently
he had valued as very precious to him.

After the war was over and the country declared an outstanding victory
over the enemy, the soldier returned home and he immediately started
searching for the family of the son who saved his life. When he finally
found the house in which the son lived, he knocked the door and waited.
The rich father came out and welcomed the soldier who described to him
the great work that his son had done and how he saved his life. The soldier
told the father that he made a humble painting describing this incident and
showing the courage of his son while carrying him from the midst of the
battle to save him from the enemy. The soldier requested that the rich man
accept the painting as a token of gratitude to the rich man's son for what
he had done to save his life. The rich man was so sad to hear the story and
was deeply grieved. However, he offered much money for the soldier on
the painting, but the soldier refused to take any money from him and
considered that no money can buy the blood of his courageous son. With
great sorrow the father took the painting while his face was filled with
tears. He then posted the painting over the fireplace to keep looking at his
beloved late son because his love to him was great.

After many years, the rich man died and all his paintings were put in
auction for sale. When all the rich people from all over the country heard
about the auction, every one of them came to buy these best original
paintings available in the country. During the auction, the man in charge
declared the opening the auction and started shouting: We have here the
son, who will take the son first? He continued; I open the painting of son
for 100 dollars who will take the son for 100 dollars? All the rich men
shouted with one voice declaring to the man to exclude the son from
among the genuine paintings offered in the auction and to start showing
them the expensive painting first because they were considered a treasure
and very worthy to buy. The Man told them, however, that he must carry
out the will of the rich man who wished to give the son first to who ever
desires it. So he shouted again and said: We have the son, who will take
the son for 50 dollars? Who desires to take the son? Again the rich men in
the hall all complained and shouted we don’t want the son; get red of the
son! But in a place very far away in the back, a man shouted I pay 10
dollars for the son, I cannot afford more than 10 dollars; 10 dollars is all I
have. The man of the auction then shouted again and said: OK! We have
10 dollars for the son, who will pay 20? No body wanted the son for 20
dollars and they all shouted back- give it to him for 10 dollars, we don't
want the son. So finally, the auctioneer shouted and said OK; the son is
sold for ten dollars and the auction is closed. The rich men then all
together shouted back at him with a very angry tone and requested to start
showing the genuine paintings that are so much expensive for they have
come a long way to buy these paintings; to which the man replied, I am
sorry but I have to execute the Rich man's will who requested that whoever
takes the son takes every thing. Therefore all the other expensive paintings
will be owned by the poor man from the back as the will says he who takes
    the son inherits every thing!!!
